As I grow older, I appreciate spring probably more than any season. To me, it signifies birth and renewal. After a long, cold and snowy winter, it is exciting to witness spring. Following are a few pictures that represent spring in the Appalachian Mountains.
Native trout streams are my favorite places to visit in early spring. Not only the trout, but the beauty of the landscape uplifts my spirits after a long winter.
Wildflowers are some of my favorite pictures of spring .Here are a couple of the first bloomers. Spring Beauty on the left and Blue Violet on the right

While fishing these remote streams, I always find time to collect my favorite spring tonic - RAMPS
